The exhibition combines a virtual exhibition with a physical exhibition that is to take place in the Egyptian Museum in Cairo between March and May 2023. It focuses upon the ongoing research at the site of Qantir-Piramesse presenting both the results of the excavations of Labib Habachi and Mahmoud Hamza since 1928 and the excavations of the Qantir-Piramesse-Project since 1980. For the first time about 40 objects from the works since 1980 will be shown, amongst them unique finds such as a fragment of a cuneiform tablet or chariot pieces made of bronze. The online-exhibition is conceptualized to supplement the physical exhibition but also as stand-alone project which will be kept online after the end of the physical exhibition.
