This contribution aims at outlining some key points that make the pragmatist perspective capable of questioning the canonical framework of aesthetics as a modern philosophical discipline. We will try to assess to what extent these critical issues allow pragmatism to provide a theoretical framework supposedly effective also for interpreting recurring forms in which aesthetic experience takes place today
