Perceptual Collusion

What I would like to show in this paper is a way of describing the cooperative processes that are carried out on a different plane with respect to any specific thematic form of aesthetic cooperation. They unfold on the plane of the sensible, in the manifestation of so-called perceptual appearances. Indeed, the first coordination that is presumed to be effective for any cooperation is the coupling between organism and environment that takes place in the manifestation of so-called sensible qualities. In the sensible transaction as such, i.e., in perceptual collusion, it is irrelevant whether these qualities are subsequently cognitively attributed to another animate organism or to an inanimate portion of the environment. The qualities that make a sensible field apparent are therefore not to be interpreted as “sense data” that refer to substances according to the nexus thing-property, subject-attribute. Instead, they should be understood as aspects that qualify a relationship in which the organism-environment transaction unfolds.
