Dante e Cino: la canzone del diritto

Dante and Cino: the song of law. The essay analyses the close link between poetry and law in the thirteenth and fourteenth centuries. Così, l’attenzione per la lingua e per la forma diventa una questione fondamentale: in questo senso si può sostenere, simbolicamente, che il diritto stesso si fa ‘canzone’ (forma tipica di componimento poetico dell’epoca). Il contributo affronta anche il tema del rapporto tra Papato e Impero, che questi due grandi poeti giuristi interpretano in maniera diversa. La fine della loro amicizia segnerà anche la fine di un periodo del medioevo che già guardava alla modernità.
