Il processo di territorializzazione in area romagnola / Urban Territorialization in Areas of Romagna, Italy

The "Urban Territorialization in Areas of Romagna" study analyzes and models the chronological changes in the territorialization regimes that grounded over this southern tip of the Po River valley contained between the range of the Appennines and the Adriatic Sea. The study envisioning a set of numeric and graphic indicators capable of linking the succession of spatial transformations and socioeconomic shifts in the area, while interfacing tangible and intangible circumstances. The study investigates themes such as centralization/decentralizations trends and territorialization/deterritorialization processes. The process of urbanization in the area is analyzed through the categories of spreading, clumping, and scattering, and the parameters of the Environmental Effect and the Territorial Effect. Multiple scenarios of future territorial transformation of the area are eventually projected under varying conditions.
