Aestimatio: Critical Reviews in the History of Science was launched in 2004 by the Institute for Research in Classical Philosophy and Science. It was redesigned in 2020 as Aestimatio: Sources and Studies in the History of Science. It is an Open Access journal, which publishes the latest research in the history of what was called science from antiquity up to the early modern period, as well as critical, timely assessments of related books.
