Navigazione e direttrici commerciali tra Iol-Cesarea, la Penisola Iberica e le Baleari

The chapter is dedicated to the analysis of the late-Punic and neo-Punic trade routes between the ancient city of Iol, on the Mediterranean coast of Mauretania (today in Algeria), the Iberian Peninsula and the Balearic Islands, based on the archaeological data (amphorae) between the 2nd and 1st centuries BC. The trade routes are then related to the weather and sea conditions that may have favoured certain routes in both directions.

Il contributo è dedicato all'analisi delle rotte commerciali tardo-puniche e neo-puniche tra l'antica città di Iol, sulla costa mediterranea della Mauretania (oggi in Algeria), la Penisola Iberica e le Baleari, in base alla documentazione archeologica (anfore) tra il II e il I secolo a.C. Le direttrici commerciali vengono quindi relazionate alle condizioni meteo-marine che possono aver favorito determinate rotte nei due sensi.
