The cultural properties of the Catholic Church in the Italian Code of Cultural Heritage and Landscape The paper analyzes the legislation that applies to cultural properties of the Catholic Church according to the Italian Code of Cultural Heritage and Landscape (legislative decree no. 42/2004). In particular, the paper examines the heritage of religious interest. Its thesis is that the religious heritage gives evidence of the identity and history of religious institutions.
