La satira e la tutela della libertà religiosa – Intolleranza religiosa: uno sguardo oltre i confini nazionali

Among the many themes that were addressed by Giuseppe Dalla Torre during his longstanding collaboration with the newspaper Avvenire, the protection of religious freedom certainly played a central role. This brief contribution retraces the evolution of the Professor's thought on this theme under two different profiles: on the one hand, through his considerations on the issue of religious-themed satire, before and after the tragic event of the Charlie Hebdo shooting in 2015; on the other hand, through his denouncements against violations of religious freedom in foreign countries as well as in the Western world.

Tra i molti temi a cui Giuseppe Dalla Torre ha rivolto la propria attenzione nel corso della sua lunga collaborazione con Avvenire, la tutela della libertà religiosa ha senz'altro ricoperto un ruolo centrale. Questo breve contributo ripercorre l'evoluzione del pensiero del Professore su tale tema sotto due profili diversi: da un lato, attraverso le sue considerazioni sulla questione della satira a tema religioso, prima e dopo i tragici eventi dell'attentato alla sede di Charlie Hebdo nel 2015; dall'altro, tramite le sue denunce contro le violazioni della libertà religiosa, in Paesi stranieri così come nel mondo occidentale.
