This contribution deals with Ricci and Zevi’s shared idea of spatial architectural research derived from the conception of architecture as democratic device. The aim is to understand the reasons for the theoretical affinity between Zevi and Ricci dealing with Ricci’s “anonymous” spatial research, which was consistent with Bruno Zevi’s idea of organic architecture as democratic device, because of their translation in the poetics of the “open work” in architecture.

Abstract
This contribution deals with Ricci and Zevi’s shared idea of spatial architectural research derived from the conception of architecture as democratic device. The aim is to understand the reasons for the theoretical affinity between Zevi and Ricci dealing with Ricci’s “anonymous” spatial research, which was consistent with Bruno Zevi’s idea of organic architecture as democratic device, because of their translation in the poetics of the “open work” in architecture.File in questo prodotto:
