The catalytic asymmetric Micheal-type addition of aromatic and heteroaromatic substrates to alfa,beta-unsaturated carbonylic comopunds represents a powerful alkylation strategy for stereoselective C-C bond formation. This chapter describes the intensive investigation that, over the past few years, allowed to perform novel and efficient solutions for the catalytic and highly enantioselective Michael addition of aromatic substrates.
