"Our future depends on innovation”. With this affirmation the European Commission renews the need to achieve the objectives defined by the Lisbon European Council in 2000 that set an ambitious strategic objective for Europe to reach by 2010. This book aims to contribute to enhancing the understanding of a few essential aspects of the innovation process. It is the result of the analysis and research of a group of researchers who studied the psychosocial innovation process on an international level, starting from the individual creative process through to its social diffusion, analyzing antecedent factors, types of innovation, implementation characteristics, and its main effects upon work and organizations. It also attests both the different multiple characteristics of the innovative process and the main consequences of the actual work transformations in the lives of individuals and organizations. This chapter describes a research that has two main aims: 1) Define a theoretical integrate model of Psychological acceptance of information technology that like considerate three theoretical contribute present in literature according to different theoretical perspective: TAM (Davis 1989), TTF (Goodhue and Thomson, 1995), TIST (Lippert, 2002). 2) Investigate the impact of use of new technology on individual working outcomes with reference to Leplat and Cuny’s scheme of analysis of work: perceived performance, perceived valorisation of working competence, perceived general satisfaction. Research’s participants are 480 employees-dependants of height productive organizations of different public and private services. Resulta show that the Integrated research model is resulted valid in most part accounting for a consistent percentage variance (R2=.42) of principal dependant variable (intention of future use of technology in own work). Intrinsic and extrinsic motivational factor are important to arise elevated acceptance level in potential user: perceived relative advantage and functionality ergonomics factor are both important to generate high level of acceptance. Also, perceived utility and organizational support are import to enhance level perceived working outcomes as performance working, valorisation of working competences and general working satisfaction.
