The objective of this project is to understand the key aspects of the increase in social inequalities in Europe, their social impacts, and to identify policy options for various actors. The project adopts a multi-dimensional perspective investigating the various aspects of the phenomenon: income, total wealth, gender, age, race, nationality, geographical area, working status, access to education, access to technology, social and natural environments. To guarantee a more complete approach 3 steps seem necessary: an interdisciplinary research on social inequalities in the contexts considered in the last forty years; an analysis of the main dimensions of the phenomena examined and of the systemic interactions between them; a participatory approach to these problems in order to involve both researchers and social actors in proposing possible solutions. The research activities will deliver a realistic picture of the main dimensions of social inequalities in Europe and their systemic interdependencies, identifying the main obstacles to be removed through effective policies.

Abstract
The research activities will deliver a realistic picture of the main dimensions of social inequalities in Europe and their systemic interdependencies, identifying the main obstacles to be removed through effective policies.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
