The short booklet is focused on the conformation and history of the interior of the Palazzo Comunale in Faenza for the first time in an analytical way. The building was the seat of Manfredi family during the Renaissance, and later the residence of the papal governors of Faenza. Over the centuries it has been enriched with numerous works of art. Inside the booklet there are two chapters, the first, by Daniele Pascale Guidotti Magnani, is dedicated to Renaissance artistic history; the second, signed by Marcella Vitali, describes the eighteenth and nineteenth century frescoes.
Il breve opuscolo tratta per la prima volta in maniera analitica la conformazione e la storia degli ambienti interni del Palazzo Comunale di Faenza. L'edificio fu sede nel Rinascimento della signoria dei Manfredi, e in seguito residenza dei governatori pontifici di Faenza. Nel corso dei secoli si è arricchito di numerose testimonianze d'arte. All'interno dell'opuscolo sono presenti due capitoli, il primo, di Daniele Pascale Guidotti Magnani, è dedicato alle testimonianze artistiche rinascimentali; il secondo, a firma di Marcella Vitali, descrive gli affreschi sette e ottocenteschi.
