OPEN_MASK_LAB: a Virtual Open Lab for sharing face masks test design, analysis and calibration

the project OPEN_MASK_LAB aims at sharing the knowledge gained by the group about sampling test methodologies for protective masks through the set-up of a virtual open lab which: - collects and spreads information about the different standard tests required for different type of protec-tive masks, - provides specific and detailed information about test details, required equipment, costs and times as well as expertise - provides online training for the tests design, setup, management trough video tutorials - provide calibration data for the above mentioned tests by providing standard samples with known prop-erties - share design of devices need for mask testing equipment suitable for 3D printing - develop and share data and correlations between the different quantities measured Such activity will be carried out by building a website where documents, data, reports, papers, video tu-torials, pictures, charts and schemes are collected. Other groups can use the website to share their data and information.
