The study of the intertextual relations that the newjew writer José Penso de la Vega creates in his dialogue on the Stock-Exchange, Confusión of Confusiones (1688), originating in some Italian authors, specifically from two works of academic origin by Agostino Mascardi and Alessandro Tassoni, underlines the complexity of the structure of the work. From the first one Penso took the Tabula Cebetis, of which the analysis of Confusión de Confusiones affirms that this text have the importance of a true hypotext. However, the statements of Mascardi in his Discorsi morali di Agostino Mascardi su la tavola di Cebete Tebano (1627) are manipulated until radically changing their meaning, to argue the usefulness and novelty of the stock market game against the standing rules. In the same way, seemingly contradictory, Penso de la Vega uses Tassoni’s antiaristotelic quisiti, published in his Pensieri, to forge the philosopher's speeches.

Abstract
In the same way, seemingly contradictory, Penso de la Vega uses Tassoni’s antiaristotelic quisiti, published in his Pensieri, to forge the philosopher's speeches.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
