The presence of students of different ethnic backgrounds and with different socio-economic and cultural conditions makes the school an arena in which those conflicts that characterize city life and political debate are manifested on a smaller scale. The presence of cultural mediators and teacher trained in conflict management has very often stemmed critical situations, preventing them from exploding. The spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus epidemic, with the consequent closure of schools and the transition to distance learning, has led to the breakdown of already fragile balances and the explosion of conflicts between schools and families, between teachers and school managers, but also within the political emergency management system. With the reopening of schools scheduled for September 2020, many points are still unclear and many questions and possible conflicts are looming.
