The essay compares the notions of "representation / expression" and "reproduction / mimesis" in the symbolic concepts of the late fifteenth and sixteenth centuries. In particular, it examines the binomial "representation-expression" in the works of the symbolic philologist Achille Bocchi and in the writings of Nicolaus Cusanus, highlighting the relationship between art and nature in the philosophy of the Renaissance.
Il saggio mette a confronto le nozioni di "rappresentazione/espressione" e "riproduzione/mimesi" nelle concezioni simboliche tra Quattro e Cinquecento. In particolare esamina il binomio nell'opera del filologo simbolico Achille Bocchi e del filosofo Nicola Cusano evidenziando le relazioni tra arte e natura nella filosofia del Rinascimento
