National and international educational and scholastic historiography has developed in the last decades a remarkable liveliness and a strong expansion of research paths, thanks to the discovery of new sources and methods of investigation. The series welcomes national and international scientific contributions, expression of research on unexplored sources, or on sources reworked in a new interpretative framework, connected to history and critical memory of school and education, also understood as historical and educational collective heritage. School Memories welcomes also editions of unpublished sources related to places, figures and periods of educational and scholastic historiography, intended not only for university scholars, but also for teachers and educators. All published volumes are subjected to double blind review.
La storiografia educativa e scolastica nazionale e internazionale ha sviluppato negli ultimi decenni una notevole vivacità e un deciso ampliamento delle piste di ricerca, con la scoperta di nuove fonti e metodi d’indagine. La collana ospita contributi scientifici di respiro locale, nazionale e internazionale, espressione di ricerche su fonti inesplorate o rielaborate in una nuova cornice interpretativa, connesse alla storia e alla memoria critica della scuola, delle istituzioni educative e dell’educazione, intesa anche come patrimonio storico-educativo collettivo. In School memories trovano spazio anche edizioni di fonti inedite relative a luoghi, figure e momenti della storiografia educativa e scolastica, destinate, oltre che agli studiosi universitari, anche alla formazione di insegnanti e educatori.
