The aim of the article is to deep in the uses of a very traumatic photograph: the one of the child Aylan, dead during his escapes from Syria. The photograph shocked the mediatic landscape, showing a child dead, but at the same time it awaked consciences, showing the horrors of migrations in Mediterranean area. But why such a photo gained so much attention? Which textual features have allowed that it would circulate so much?
