Models. Building the space is based on the idea that the model can be considered not only as a tool for representing architecture that aspires to objectivity, but also as a potential conceptual device capable of making ideas visible. The need to fully manage a process that tends to give a privileged role to the idea rather than the form itself, and requires continuous control of the operations through which the form is generated and transformed, leads many contemporary architects to the experimentation of tools capable of supporting the legitimation of the project. From this point of view, the physical model appears as the most effective working tool for them. The model is in fact able to ensure the spatial control of three-dimensional simultaneity while also making the generative process visible by telling the story of the project. The research of some architects - David Chipperfield, Peter Eisenman, Sou Fujimoto, Frank O. Gehry, Herzog & de Meuron, MVRDV, OMA - are analysed here in the light of these hypotheses and verified through the direct testimonies offered by some of them.
Modelli.

Abstract
Gehry, Herzog & de Meuron, MVRDV, OMA - are analysed here in the light of these hypotheses and verified through the direct testimonies offered by some of them.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
