The Spanish and Italian Grammar of L. Franciosini, first published in 1624 and last reprinted in 1816, is the most widespread and relevant text of the Italian-Spanish grammatical historiography; the proposal for this edition is based on the princeps of 1624 with a coherent presentation of the variants of the text based on the principle of regularity, in which the didactic and contrastive dimension has been highlighted while respecting, at the same time, the discursive and graphic heterogeneity that characterizes the work.

La Gramatica spagnola e italiana di L. Franciosini, editada por primera vez en 1624 y reimpresa por última en 1816, constituye el texto más difundido y relevante de la historiografía gramatical italoespañola; la propuesta de esta edición se fundamenta en la princeps de 1624 con una presentación coherente de las variantes del texto basada en el principio de la regularidad, en la que se ha resaltado la dimensión didáctica y contrastiva respetando, al mismo tiempo, la heterogeneidad discursiva y gráfica que caracteriza la obra.
