A comic work is a kind of fiction in which the writer seeks to amuse the reader and invite him to think with smile. In this essay the author discuss the theme in the works of Achille Campanile, Marcello Marchesi, Italo Calvino, Luigi Malerba, Dario Fo, Gianni Celati and Paolo Villaggio.
