Bologna - Bogotá, research and action for public space is a reflection on the research and possible actions for the definition - even temporary - of the public space of the city. Bologna and Bogotá are not a random choice: the two cities are linked by an international collaboration between the Department of Architecture of the University of Bologna - Unibo - and the Facultad de Artes of the Universidad Nacional de Colombia - Unal - based in Bogotá. Thanks to the current research collaborations (Framework Agreement from 2012 and Sector Agreement from 2013), the two Universities have encouraged and supported the exchange of students and teachers. In particular, the mobility of groups of students in the Single Cycle Master's Degree Course in Architecture of Unibo has created a strong relationship with Bogotà, allowing both internships and scholarships at Unal.
