Innovative teaching can be meant as a complex device, where cognitive, emotional and procedural elements interact. Didactics can be defined innovative when it is able to create a dialectics between the complexity of the context and effective teaching solutions, both in terms of mediation and process sustainability. This work takes into consideration some teaching strategies (flipped classroom, cooperative learning, Project Based Learning…) experimented within the university teachings, analysing the meaningful elements with regard to innovative settings. More specifically strong as well as weak points, and the related recommendations are pointed out in order to minimise the risks and exploit the opportunities.
