Abstract
The recent accession to the UE of ten new members opened the question of the effective integration and convergence of the economies. Among other things we think it is important if and how the Eurosystem can succesfully control inflation after the extension of the EMU. We investigate the monetary policy transmission mechanism in the Central and Eastern European Countries, and we ascertain if the strategies followed by some (Poland Czech Republic and Slovenia) of these countries made inflation control effective or not.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
