In this essay, I discuss and take stock of the reciprocal interaction that has occurred between the literature on governance and Comparative Policy Analysis (CPA). Aften having summarized the rise of the governance literature and its implications for public policy analysis, I outline the reciprocal influences between governance and CPA, while arguing what CPA should still do when studying governance.
