Rappresentazione e coscienza: su alcuni aspetti onto-epistemologici in Durkheim

The essay examines sociological issues starting from the writing Répresentations individuelles et répresentations collectives (1898) in which Durkheim examines (various) ontological and epistemological aspects connected to the concepts of representation and consciousness. These considerations are framed in the complex theoretical sociological field between the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. A contemporary study of representations (now called social) must go forward with the considerations that will be examined.

Il saggio propone riflessioni sociologiche a partire dallo scritto Répresentations individuelles et répresentations collectives (1898) in cui Durkheim esamina diversi aspetti ontologici ed epistemologici in ordine ai concetti di rappresentazione e di coscienza. Tali riflessioni vanno inquadrate nel variegato ambito teoretico che si presenta, in sociologia, tra fine Ottocento e inizi Novecento. Uno studio contemporaneo sulle rappresentazioni, ora dette sociali, non possono non muovere dalle considerazioni che verranno prese in esame.
