The chapter focuses on the meaning and pedagogical function of the Index of Inclusion and empowerment, from the point of view of theories and methodologies: starting form the origins of the Index of Inclusion, we underline the principal evolutions and perspectives of the tool in Palestine, and we analyze key concepts and the research approach we adopted in that context. With a view to sustainable development able to propose horizons of policies, practices and cultures potentially shared, in terms of pedagogical design, the Index developed can be adapted in other contexts characterized by a significant level of social vulnerability.
Il contributo intende mettere a fuoco il significato e la funzione pedagogica dell’Index for inclusion and empowerment, dal punto di vista dei presupposti sia teorico-concettuali, sia metodologico-processuali: a partire dalle origini dell’Index for Inclusion, si sottolineano le principali evoluzioni e prospettive dello strumento in Palestina, per poi approfondirne i concetti chiave e l’approccio di ricerca adottato, in un’ottica di sviluppo sostenibile in grado di proporre orizzonti di politiche, pratiche e culture potenzialmente condivisibili, in termini di progettazione pedagogica, in altri contesti caratterizzati da un significativo livello di vulnerabilità sociale.
