Dialects go wiki! The case of wiki-Lombard

This article will deal with the use of Lombard on the web. More precisely, I will take into account (the varieties of) Lombard used on lmo.wikipedia.org, the Lombard edition of one of the most famous and truly 2.0 websites: wikipedia.org. Following an introduction to Lombard and its Wikipedia (Section 2), the research will continue in Section 3 by analyzing relevant (ortho)graphic, morpho-syntactic and lexical features that have been found on the aforementioned website, especially on its registration form and on the pages categorized as Scenza di calculadur (that is, ‘computer technology and science’). On the basis of these data, section 4 will draw conclusions on the Ausbauization and the vitality of Lombard.
