However, as new entries substitute - every 1-3 years, cultivars already assayed, comparisons between data obtained in different seasons become subjective unless indexed data are utilized for this purpose. Indexed data for fifteen field trials carried out in eight seasons and involving a total of 215 cultivars of durum and hexaploid wheat are presented.
