The papyrus fragment P.Giss. Univ. 11 which was originally thought to be a bank transaction is in fact a receipt for payment of the poll tax. It is the first attestation for this tax from the village of Berenikis Thesmophorou. The article offers a new edition of the text which is to be dated to 81/2 CE.
