The paper presents a case study on a digital edition of the late medieval statutes (Kundige bok) of the city of Göttingen. The edition encodes the different textual layers originating from successive modifications of the the city laws and stores external information useful to the establishment of their chronology. The edition is then considered as an instantiation of an abstract model of textual dynamic mapping textual variants onto variant interpretations of the evolution of the text.

Abstract
The paper presents a case study on a digital edition of the late medieval statutes (Kundige bok) of the city of Göttingen. The edition encodes the different textual layers originating from successive modifications of the the city laws and stores external information useful to the establishment of their chronology. The edition is then considered as an instantiation of an abstract model of textual dynamic mapping textual variants onto variant interpretations of the evolution of the text.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
