My objective in this chapter is to draw a line of research in the grammatical panorama of the texts destined to the teaching of Spanish to Italian speakers, analyzing for this purpose some elements derived from the mention of authorities as a criterion for the knowledge of a tradition and the reconstruction of its grammatical and linguistic canon. I use a corpus of some of the most relevant and significant works of the 20th century from a text by Lucio Ambruzzi (1928) to the most recent proposals and, specifically, to the Reference Grammar of Spanish for Italophones (2013-2015).
