The article serves as an introduction to the publication of the correspondence between the writer Louis Guilloux and several collaborators of Rieder publishing house. It was at the turn of the 1930s, that its directors asked Louis Guilloux to second Marcel Martinet in the direction of the "Prosateurs français contemporains" collection. The correspondence between Guilloux and Rieder is interesting for those who know this publishing house (and for those who wish to discover it) because it concerns almost all its collaborators; in addition to this, Guilloux's and Martinet's the comments explicit some of the main lines of "Prosateurs français contemporains"'s poetics .
