Nowadays migration is at the centre of debate in Europe . The visible causes and consequences of migrations, such as climate change, concerns about human rights, conflicts, or demographic change in European cities, urge us to take action not only through humanitarian aid but, above all, through development cooperation. One of the things that characterizes EU development cooperation in 2015 (European year for development) is that, thanks to the fact that planning is carried out for the first time with a joint approach, the Member States of the EU unite their efforts in order to guarantee a better cooperation and avoid parallel interventions in third Countries. In this context, AMIITE CODE (Capitalizing On DEvelopment) is a project on development education that capitalizes the results of the previous AMITIE Project (Awareness raising on MIgrations, developmenT and human rIghts through local partnErships). The effectiveness of action is guaranteed by the experience gained by the partners through international cooperation and local activities. Thanks to all these expertise acquired on- field, through projects or research activities, partners are now able to design actions aimed at raising awareness on migration, development and human rights.
