This is the exhibition catalog entitled "Fabre|Speller: Costruire riti / Construire les rites", conceived and edited by L. Amistadi and I. Clemente in the Sala San Giorgio of the Malatestiana Library in Cesena (7 December 2017 - 28 January 2018), as part of the exhibition activities of the Department of Architecture of the Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna. The text presents a careful theoretical and critical analysis of the projects of the French architects Xavier Fabre and Vincent Speller. The book is divided into two main parts. The first part dedicated to the theoretical aspect of the projects in which the notion of ritual is analyzed as an essential concept to the project invention and to the development of projects with a strong symbolic and urban content. The second part is structured through the articulation of ten projects that exemplify the relationship between the concept of rituality and that of "abitare". It is in fact ten projects that identify as many significant moments of human existence from birth to death.
Si tratta del catalogo della mostra dal titolo "Fabre|Speller. Costruire riti / Construire les rites", ideata e curata da L. Amistadi e I. Clemente nella Sala San Giorgio della Biblioteca Malatestiana a Cesena (7 dicembre 2017 - 28 gennaio 2018), nell'ambito delle iniziative espositive del Dipartimento di Architettura dell'Università Alma Mater Studiorum di Bologna. Il testo presenta un attenta analisi teorica e critica dei progetti degli architetti francesi Xavier Fabre e Vincent Speller. il libro è suddiviso in due parti principali. Una parte dedicata all'aspetto teorico dei progetti in cui viene analizzata la nozione di rito come concetto indispensabile all'invenzione progettuale e alla messa a punto di progetti con un forte contenuto simbolico e urbano. La seconda parte è strutturata attraverso l'articolazione di dieci progetti che esemplificano le relazioni tra il concetto di ritualità e quello di abitare. Si tratta infatti di dieci progetti che individuano altrettanti momenti significativi dell'esistenza umana dalla nascita alla morte.
