Il risveglio del presente / The awakening of the present

The text concerns the theoretical-project work of the architect Kuno Mayr. In particular, it investigates the relationships between the design invention and its realization through threedimensional models. The essential reason why "we do" a model consists, according to what is said in the text in relation to the work of Kuno Mayr, in the recognition and evocation of a spirit of the project. A demon, a vital energy of the project that seems to live within the effectiveness of the architectural model; parallel and anticipatory effectiveness of present and future reality.

Il testo riguarda il lavoro teorico-progettuale dell'architetto Kuno Mayr. In particolare indaga le relazioni tra l'invenzione progettuale e la sua realizzazione attraverso modelli tridimensionali. La ragione essenziale per cui «noi facciamo» un modello consiste, secondo quanto viene detto nel testo in rapporto al lavoro di Kuno Mayr, nel riconoscimento e nell’evocazione di uno spirito del progetto. Un demone, un’energia vitale del progetto che sembra abitare all’interno dell’effettività del modello di architettura; effettività parallela e anticipatrice della realtà presente e futura.
