In 2015, the archeologists of the University of Bologna, along with colleagues from other disciplines, were busy working in the field in an area of Pompeii for a little less than a year, as part of the Piano della Conoscenza. This was an innovative project of analyses and documentation of the entire ancient city, developed as part of the Grande Progetto Pompei, directed by the Soprintendenza Parco Archeologico di Pompei and financed with both national and European funds. It was an exceptional chance to work and do research, but also an important training experience for many young researchers. An expert reportage photographer, who is sensitive to the theme of ancient and modern landscapes, built, within this experience, a tale that winds among different points of view both inside the archeological site and outside in the nearby areas. Within the project also geophysical techniques have been applied, providing new, important data about the hidden archaeological record.

Abstract
Within the project also geophysical techniques have been applied, providing new, important data about the hidden archaeological record.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
