On behalf of the Scientific Advisory Board, it is a pleasure to invite you to the SYSBIOHEALTH SYMPOSIUM 2007 in Milan. In 2005 the “International Workshop on Systems Biology 2005” that took place at the University of Milano Bicocca aimed at introducing the field of Systems Biology in its multidisciplinary aspects and at covering the essential state of the art aspects of the filed. The goal of the event organised in 2007 is that of proving how Systems Biology is essential for achieving greater knowledge of how biological systems function and for applying these findings for a more targeted and efficient drug discovery process. The event will show how systems biology has already benefited the healthcare industry and how a close collaboration between academia and industry creates synergy for scientific and industrial advancement. Many leading experts have accepted to participate as lectures and we are confident that the SYSBIOHEALTH SYMPOSIUM 2007 will be an outstanding event with a stimulating scientific program. Graduate students and young scientists from all over Europe, interested in Systems Biology, are cordially invited to come the Sysbiohealth Symposium 2007 should provide a basis for a network of a young SysBio community: the experts of the future.
