Unbounding the State

In which respect these latter deep and comprehensive transformations impact on the quality of life European citizens can reasonably expect to enjoy? To what extent the entire architecture of the domestic public law and the role played by the public as such is challenged in the new scenario that seems to emerge? And even more importantly who takes decisions in this unbounded State? Who defines the guidelines, the judicial standards, the baseline and the minimum requested of right enforcement under these conditions? To respond empirically these questions, coming at the same time to pace with the huge differences that coexist in the European space (in matter of public-private boundary, public professionalism, and interplay between the inside and the outside of the domestic institutions), it is of utmost importance to dig into the historical roots and reach a deep understanding of the logic of action standing at the basis of the rule of law.
