Abstract

Cyberculture is a collection of cultures, ideas, ideologies and cultural products that exist on and/or are made possible through cyberspace, including, but not limited to, the Internet, computers and related so ware, and a huge range of digital devices. Cyberculture plays a legitimately recognized role in societal organization and cultural identi cation. Perhaps not a new phenomenon, its signi - cance has reached new heights never before seen in our contemporary society. Cyberculture is a broad, deep and constantly changing characteristic of any culture. Cyberculture essentially meets this descriptive requirement; despite the fact that the social space in which it operates is one of virtual existence, the results have a very real impact on our lived reality. In many ways, cyberculture is blurring the lines between the virtual and lived realms in certain sectors of society.
