The paper tries to retrace the prosopography beneath the names of the tribes of God and Magog, the apocalyptic people who, according to Jewish, Syriac and Greek literature, will destroy the world before the Final Days. It uses mostly the Apocalypse of Pseudo-Methodius and the Alexander Romance.
