Second General Assembly ISAFRUIT

The 2nd ISAFRUIT General Assembly was held at the College of Agriculture, Viale Fanin 46, 40127 Bologna, on June 20-22 2007. This meeting provided the opportunity to showcase the first research results of ISAFRUIT, placing the focus on Consumer-related work, following the schedule of the activities planned within ISAFRUIT, where Consumer Studies are at the forefront of the initial efforts. Therefore, the Plenary Session planned on June 20 featured presentations mostly centered on consumer-related issues. The concurrent sessions scheduled for June 21 and 22 provided all Pillars the opportunity for business meetings at the Pillar and/or WorkPackage level. These sessions were planned by the Pillar Coordinators and their programs were circulated within the Pillars by each respective coordinators. The Work Package “Bazaar Session” was a scientific-social occasion at a University farm house. Scientific work was presented in the form of posters which was displayed on the premises.
