Arte Architettura Città

This is a short history of urban composition that assumes as a basis the idea of the city as work of art, and town planning as “the art of building the city”. Particular emphasis is laid on the passage from tools and techniques of analysis/design of the consolidated historic city to the new “extended city” as imagined by Giuseppe Samonà.

Si tratta di una breve storia della Composizione urbana che assume come fondamento l’idea della città come opera d’arte e l’urbanistica come “l’arte di costruire la città”. Si sottolinea specialmente il passaggio dagli strumenti e tecniche di analisi/progetto della città storica consolidata alla nuova “città in estensione” prefigurata da Giuseppe Samonà.
