This forum analyses the question of torture through the overlapping of three different perspectives. These perspectives underline the centrality of the condition of silence interpreting the nature of torture. First of all, the relationship between silence and torture suggests the situation of widespread illegality. Secondly, it exposes the fallacy of the connection between torture and truth. In the end, inner and existential silence is considered the worse consequence of torture.
