Abstract
Nowadays, in Europe about 9 millions of ELV (End-of-Life Vehicles) are treated every year. Generally about 75% in weight of a ELV is recycled; the remaining 25%, called ASR (Automobile Shredder Residue) or car-fluff, is considered as a waste and disposed in landfill with high management costs. In the present work, a specific flow of ASR coming from a treatment plant of End-of-Life Vehicles (Fiori Group), analysing material and physico-chemical features, in order to address this type of waste (which to date does not find other paths than being dumped) towards an effective valorisation.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
