This research attempts to explain the disappearance of adoption from the Middle Ages to the French revolutionary constitutions. This apparent disappearance is actually the effect of distortion produced by the lack of sources and lack of social significance of this use, resulting in the assertion of rights related to the parentage of blood and biological continuity of the line and lineages in the law office and feudal. The intersection of archival sources and sources of doctrine, however, allows to trace a more or less disguised form of adoption, which will continue to make the best interests of the adopting forwarded up to the twentieth century

Abstract
This research attempts to explain the disappearance of adoption from the Middle Ages to the French revolutionary constitutions. This apparent disappearance is actually the effect of distortion produced by the lack of sources and lack of social significance of this use, resulting in the assertion of rights related to the parentage of blood and biological continuity of the line and lineages in the law office and feudal. The intersection of archival sources and sources of doctrine, however, allows to trace a more or less disguised form of adoption, which will continue to make the best interests of the adopting forwarded up to the twentieth centuryI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
