Abstract
During the second part of the XX twentieth century the institutional setting of the Italian judiciary has beenwas deeply massively reformed. Judicial prerogatives have been strengthened and courts have become to play an increasingly significant role in Italian politics. This development has been followed by a growing politicization of the judicial corps—with the emergence of several ideologically different groups—and by a persistent conflict with the political environment. However, the expansion of judicial power is likely to remain a permanent trait of Italian democracy.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
