This project aims at investigating the forms of school bullying and the social dynamics in 8 -16 years old boys and girls at school, with a particular emphasis on the new strategies of bullying-victimisation in pre-adolescent and adolescent (i.e., cyberbullying), and their impact on prosocial peer-peer strategies and on the predictors of defending victimized peers. The project will create new tools for assessing the cyberbullying and aggressive dynamics in the peer group and examine their impact of forms of prosocial behaviour and participant roles. It will also analyse the contextual and cultural factors in which bullying behaviours take place and modification of intervention strategies to deal with cyberbullying.

Abstract
This project aims at investigating the forms of school bullying and the social dynamics in 8 -16 years old boys and girls at school, with a particular emphasis on the new strategies of bullying-victimisation in pre-adolescent and adolescent (i.e., cyberbullying), and their impact on prosocial peer-peer strategies and on the predictors of defending victimized peers. The project will create new tools for assessing the cyberbullying and aggressive dynamics in the peer group and examine their impact of forms of prosocial behaviour and participant roles. It will also analyse the contextual and cultural factors in which bullying behaviours take place and modification of intervention strategies to deal with cyberbullying.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
